This is a free play on Over 2.5. Tony Ferguson is now 37 years old, and coming off consecutive losses you might not think he has much left to give as a mixed martial artist. He will be an underdog here against Beneil Dariush, but don't expect this to be an easy fight by any means. Ferguson went the distance in his last fight, losing the decision to Oliveira, and his KO loss to Justin Gaethje came in the fifth round. In 31 professional fights, that was his only loss by knockout. He's also only lost once by submission. This is a 2* play on PHI. The White Sox appear to be the worst team in the major leagues, yet we get what I consider to be a reasonable price to bet against them today. While they send a highly touted pitcher to the mound, Garrett Crochet is coming off a rough outing, and the Sox have lost three of his four starts. The Phillies hand the ball to Spencer Turnbull, who has been dealing. The former Tiger has tossed 16 solid innings over three starts, and the Phillies won all three of those games. This is a 4* play on SAC. The Pelicans lost Zion in their home loss to the Lakers, and while some will lean on the "injured player theory", I am not sure you can equate losing your best player in the middle of the regular season, to losing your best player with an elimination game on deck. The Kings were impressive in last year's playoffs, going seven games against the Warriors. They didn't take the next step this year, but they might be getting hot at the right time. The one guy that the Pelicans need to step up, is Brandon Ingraham. The former Laker scored just 11 points on 4-of-12 shooting in the loss to the Pelicans.
